Last night I dreamt that we, we were together

You and I together, again

I called you close, and you came right by my side

I hoped the dream would never end

You know you said, that we could still be friends

I sit here alone, I think of you, my heart it misses a beat

I think of all the good times we had

I see your face, and the sunlight in your eyes

I think how much I cried

When you left me, you know I nearly died

With an open mind and a broken heart, I’m resigned to walking alone

There’s no-one left to help me, on my way

As I travel on, through this life of broken dreams

No-one can wipe my tears away

You know my love, for you, will always stay
